In this recent interview with esteemed Geographer and Education manager at ESRI, Dr. Joseph Kerski, I discuss the importance of Geotechnologies to aid in social change. As an educator at the ATLAS Institute at the University of Colorado- Boulder, I work with master's students passionate about making a improving people's lives in underrepresented communities through appropriate ICT (Information and Communication Technology) interventions, including Geotechnologies. I believe that contributions from people from interdisciplinary backgrounds including the humanities and the arts, makes for a more well-rounded educational program and improves the capacity of the entire field of STEAM.
